a time to reflect on all things vocal

World Voice Day is celebrated across the globe on 16th April. It’s a time to pause and reflect on the important role that voice plays in every aspect of our lives.

It’s also a great opportunity for those of us living with dysphonia, to educate the broader community and to share a little of what it is like to live in our world.

One of the key aims of the Network is to grow an awareness and understanding of voice disorders, and World Voice Day gives us the platform. This year we will use WVD to publicly ‘launch’ the Network and to begin our first official fundraising campaign.

With the support of the Australian Voice Association, and our celebrity Ambassadors, Actor/Advocate Paula Duncan, and Aussie Country Singer Melinda Schneider, we will be hosting two spectacular Variety Concerts. These  vocal smorgasbords will showcase the magic of well known professional voices, alongside local community performers, and will highlight that voice matters to each and every one of us.

At $6.60 pp, it is hard to beat  ~ and $5 of every ticket sold will contribute to the ADN fundraising efforts for research into causes, management and treatment of dysphonia.

Tickets are ‘pre-purchase’ and available through Ticketek  HERE  Hope we see you !

Thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters, in particular to the generous team @ Mannings Funerals
