Plans for the ADN World Voice Day Campaign are well and truly underway.
In 2017, the whole month of April will be an opportunity for us to make some noise about the magic of voice, while highlighting that some of us do not share the joy of easy communication.
This year sees our concert series, in partnership with the Australian Voice Association, expand to 3 major events. We also have some ‘friends of dysphonia’ working to host fund raising events which will contribute to raising awareness, and money to assist our research and support efforts.
Once again we are thrilled to announce the support of Actor Paula Duncan as our Media Ambassador. A household name in television, Paula has a personal appreciation of the importance of voice, this coupled with her passion for work in disabilities makes her our perfect spokesperson.
The 2017 ADN World Voice Day Concert series schedule includes:
Voices in the Valley – Friday 21st April 7.30pm @ Panthers Penrith. A star studded line-up of vocal talent, old favourites, up and coming recording artists including the gorgeous Yianna Nicholas.
Sing it Sydney – Sunday 23rd April 2pm @ Paddington Town Hall. A spectacular line-up of returning favourites and new talent – featuring ‘Larger Than Lions’ an amazing duet renowned for their powerful mash-ups and innovative remixes.
Hunter in Harmony – Sunday 30th April 2pm @ Newcastle Conservatorium of Music. A spectacular line up of voices showcasing the very best of vocal talent, and guaranteed to suit every musical palette.

A big thanks to all of out financial and in-kind business supporters so far: City of Sydney, Panthers Penrith, Newcastle University, The Australian Voice Association, Galston & District Community Bank ® Branch of Bendigo Bank, and the numerous personal contributions.
Can we change this slightly? Can we delete from the Hunter one the following? > > showcasing the best voices of the sunny mid north coast, and guaranteed >
1) mid north coast is the Taree area 2) and we have singers from Sydney
By deleting these words it still reads ok
Thanks
Regards
Greg
