  1. Thanks so much for organising this network. It’s very exciting. Can you advise who the experts are? Is Dr Cate Madill one of them? If not, she should be!

    1. Hi Sue – It’s great that you are as excited as us.
I can tell you that we have confirmed Dr Daniel Novakovic (specialist Laryngologist), Judith Rough (Speech / Voice Therapist) & Rachael Cunningham (Laryngeal Massage Therapist) and we are waiting on one more confirmation before releasing the full program. I hope you can make it.

  2. Indeed. To be fair, this condition is not only rare, with only 2-4 pple per 100,000 being diagnosed, it is also somewhat mercurial and presents in different ways, over people and over time; Sydney would have about 200, as would all of NZ. There are about 750 in the Netherlands, from 17,000,000. So, a GP that tends a flock of say 3-5000 in any community may only came across 1-2 SD sufferers in 10 years. My GP, who admittedly is known as a bit of an old duffer, googled as I was talking with him. He had not heard about SD in 40 yrs of practice. Sigh. Wee bugger of a thing, it is.

So come on, BOOK! See you in Sydders by the sea!
